Idle No More was an Indigenous movement that spread quickly across Canada and was supported and noticed around the globe.

 For your presentation, consider the following:

  • Who are the founders of the movement?

  • Why was the movement started?

  • What are some of activities that Idle No More sparked? Was it a peaceful movement or was it driven by conflict?

  • Examples of how it spread internationally, and how it was a big news item in the international press

  • How did the movement contribute to awareness and reconciliation?
