Reconciliation: 

In this unit we will explore the findings of Canada's Truth and Reconciliation Commission. We will also discuss what reconciliation looks like in Canada and the ways in which all of us can take part. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Identify what reconciliation is and the forms it could take

  • Examine the steps learner may take to be a part of this reconciliation shift

  • Describe the key elements from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report

Charlene Bearhead was the Education Lead for the ‘Truth and Reconciliation' Commission’ - TRC. She is an international speaker and continues to assist educators and institutions across Canada, in the implementation of the TRC Calls to Actions, to transform the classroom and the education environment. Many of the themes in this video intended for the education sector can be transferred to many organizations and applied to the workplace.
