In summer of 2024, Reconciliation Education made the decision to upgrade and transition to a new portal for a very simple reason: We want to provide the best possible experience for our reconciliation learning community.
The Reconciliation Education team spent hours to read and review years of learner and client feedback, testimonials, reviews, and support tickets to drill down on what is important to our community. We took your feedback and made ourselves a checklist for what we wanted to get out of our environment to empower the community.
What we realized with our checklist in hand is that while our previous course portal was great, we've outgrown it. With over 100,000 learners learning concurrently with Reconciliation Education, we have exceeded the comfortable learner limit of our previous portal on Thinkific.
For 2024-25, we have purposefully grown into a spacious new environment with more tools, more robust reporting, and cleaner navigation for the learner experience. We've levelled up our LMS experience by teaming up with Docebo (doe-chay-boh) to bring our learning community the best digital home for the 2025 learning season and beyond.
Here are some things we love about our new home on Docebo:
- The most requested feature upgrade: Enhanced reporting
Our reporting features are more robust than ever! For clients, our favourite feature is that you can easily switch between being a learner and completing your own course, and checking on learners in your organization. No more having to have 2 windows open! Even better than that? You can now create fully custom Reports and schedule them to send to you automatically. Choose from dozens of available data points, customize order and columns, and take your admin time down to minutes a month.
- The most requested HR upgrade: Agile Client Features
We know how important data is to our clients. Our new portal features the ability to make granular decisions about how your learners are broken up and supports multilingual site translation to keep English and French learners in one place.
We're also excited to announce that clients now have the capability to register their own learners directly to our Docebo LMS, instead of sending in registration lists to our team. (Please note that this feature requires a technical training meeting with a Reconciliation Education specialist before it will be activated on your Power User account).
- The most requested learner upgrade: Mobile compatibility
You can now take the 4 Seasons of Reconciliation course using your mobile phone, tablet, or iPad! The entire course site is now mobile-optimized and ready for the small screen, and available through a cross-platform app. Connecting your favourite device to 4 Seasons of Reconciliation is quick and easy, letting you take your learning with you wherever you roam.
- Intuitive navigation
Our new portal features simpler, more learner-friendly navigation similar to sites learners are already familiar with. The new learner Dashboard is more helpful than ever, and gives learners everything they need to fully experience the course, right at their fingertips. Access the Bonus Library directly from Your Dashboard, sign our digital guestbook, or find answers from our FAQ & Help Library with the click of a button.
- Modern course player
Our old course player looked pretty dated. Our new portal features a sleek, modern course player with enhanced contrast. Navigating course sections and seeing your progress at-a-glance has never been easier.
- Upgraded visuals
New portal, new look! We've refreshed the entire course to match the clean visuals of our new portal. Bonus: If your organization has a SCORM course, you can now host an identical copy of your course inside our portal for executives or learners who don't have access to your organization's LMS. Everyone in your organization can now have the exact same learning journey, regardless of where they learn.
